“Read Across America” week is a nationwide celebration held in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, encouraging a love for reading in children of all ages. What an honor it was to participate in the event, sharing my new children’s book, Willow the Wonder Pug: A Kaleidoscope of Kindness, with a group of bright-eyed, eager young readers! The joyful setting of Fairytale Town in Sacramento made storytime even more magical, as children gathered to listen, laugh, and learn about kindness through Willow’s colorful adventures. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of books to spark imagination and bring communities together.
